Plot - Synopsis
Set in the year 1935 when Dongbei was invaded, there was a place called Peace Hotel where its guests find themselves engaging in a dangerous battle of wits and will in a span of ten days.
Wang Da Ding (Lei Jia Yin) is a patriot who is chasing after a large batch of opium that is meant to be distributed to the people. He checks in to Peace Hotel where he meets Chen Jia Ying (Chen Shu), a doctor who has returned from abroad. While studying in Japan, Chen Jia Ying already caught wind of Japan's plans to invade China using biological weapons as a means to an end. In order to put a stop to it, she takes it upon herself to find the lab where the experimentation is taking place. However, the Peace Hotel is completely surrounded by the Japanese Army and the two strangers must pretend to be a married couple in hopes of outwitting the enemy.
